PC Programming for 97-03 GM V6 - 3800, 3800SC, 3400 |
|
Attention Grand Prix, Regal, Intrigue, Monte Carlo, Impala,
Bonneville, Park Ave, Delta 88/98/LSS, Grand
Am, Malibu, Alero, Venture, Transport/Montana, Silhouette drivers!
C-Ya Racing offers custom programming for your car! |
Why choose C-Ya racing?
 | We use the correct software level for your model year!
Unlike other programmers, we always use the correct
software level for your car! Yes, software levels do change every
year, and often, many times within the same year! Why? Just
like PCs, automotive engineers are always finding bugs or improving
algorithms and calibrations. Have you ever put in custom PCM
programming and wondered why something you didn't want changed now works
a bit differently, or not at all? This could be why!
When components such as sensors, internal engine/transmission parts,
actuators, valves, orifices sizes, etc. are changed due to changes in
suppliers (brand name, manufacturer, etc.) used, or updates to new
improved revisions are made, the software algorithms often must be
modified to accommodate the changes. These changes typically occur
with the model years, but sometimes can happen in the middle of a model
year. The old software level may still run the car, but you can
bet it won't be doing something right! At best, this could maybe
be a minor annoyance, at worst, there could be damage inflicted from the
software incompatibility, for example, overstress from driving a
component at incorrect voltage levels. Don't believe us? Go
to any GM dealership and ask a tech about flash programming and he can
verify that the software in their system is constantly updated with
changes various reasons.
We've studied other programmer's work and noticed they often use the
same software level for all model years! If your VIN number
doesn't show up correctly on a scan tool and match the real VIN of your
car, that's a dead giveaway that they're recycling the same old outdated
software for all model years! Do you really want to run 1998
software on your 99,00,01,02 or 03 car?
|
 | We can handle programming for all the listed cars!
That's right, we understand this engine/transaxle
computer thoroughly enough to offer programming for all it's
applications, not just the Pontiac Grand Prix. From our
competitive assessments, others appear to be hacking into old 1998
Pontiac Grand Prix code and attempting to modify it to run a Buick Regal
or Chevy Monte Carlo / Impala with varying degrees of success. Is
this what you really want? Someone that doesn't have a thorough
understanding hacking the software to make it run something it wasn't
intended for?
Of course, we haven't had time to look at all the above model vehicles.
We do currently have a sizeable "library" of calibrations and
configurations ready and waiting. But if you need something we
haven't already looked into, simply give us your VIN and your custom
program will be added to our collection. |
